kiklos architects receives a Bronze Award from IDA Design Awards 2023

kiklos architects has, for the second year in a row, received a Bronze Award from IDA Design Awards, this time in the 'Commercial Interior Design' category, with the concept created for the Metre Squared Showroom, located in Dubai - UAE, and incorporating Santa Luzia/Accent-Z materials.

This project’s brief requested to design a funky/quirky way to display a specific selection of materials whilst creating a wow effect at the entrance of an existing showroom in Dubai.

The empty walls and ceiling spaces were explored, creating a tri-dimensional way to display the different materials, including floating elements with embedded light fixtures throughout the space, in an almost psychedelic form.

Additionally, a separate branded both was also created to provide quick access and storage to small sample pieces, embedding display monitors on both sides.
