kiklos architects joins the UN Global Compact Network

As part of our commitment towards a sustainably developed business, kiklos architects has joined the UN Global Compact Network through its local UAE network.

The UN Global Compact is a voluntary initiative launched by the United Nations in 2000 to encourage businesses and organizations to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies and practices. It provides a framework for companies to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.

The UN Global Compact Network is a network of local networks that operates at the country or regional level. These networks are formed by businesses, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), academic institutions, and other stakeholders who are participants or signatories of the UN Global Compact. The purpose of these networks is to support and promote the implementation of the Global Compact principles at the local level.

The UN Global Compact Network facilitates dialogue, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among its members. It organizes events, workshops, and training programs to raise awareness and build capacity on sustainability issues. The network also serves as a platform for companies to exchange best practices, share experiences, and learn from each other's successes and challenges in implementing the Global Compact principles.
