The Living Business Program 2022, organized by the HSBC Middle East and the Globally consultancy, have acclaimed kiklos architects as the "Best CSR Program", recognizing its efforts within the local (UAE) community and abroad.
Our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program is one of the pillars that uphold our business in line with our own values as individuals, partners, families, community and society.
Developed and overseen by our Managing Director, Leonardo Herman, our program focuses not only within our local community in the UAE, but also on initiatives abroad, mainly in Uganda and Haiti, through our partners 'Surge for Water'.
With our partners 'Surge for Water', kiklos architects supports their remarkable effort as a "hygiene promoter", where we support and enable the education of hundreds of individuals throughout communities in rural Uganda and Haiti about the water cycle and menstrual health.
Our main CSR project in 2022 however was the development of a much enhanced Labor Accommodation common area facilities in Jebel Ali. An enticing project where we donated our time and expertise in promoting an elevated communal experience for the hard-working labor group of one of our partners in the construction industry in the UAE.
The main requirements of the residents were listened to during site visits and our design entailed a much greener, social area. Yet, "buildability"and cost effectiveness were some of our main concerns, which were achieved by a modular, repeatable concept, reducing material and construction costs.
Our CSR program is a continuously evolving program, where we strive to find opportunities to improve the quality of life of our community and society, near and far.
